Lesson 8- Stewarding the Gospel
Mark 16:15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Christ’s final command before He left Earth was for us to go into all the world and take the gospel to everyone. Stewarding the gospel is a command for every Christian. In this final lesson, we look at not only Christ’s command, but also at some testimonies of others who have shared the gospel and the fruit that resulted.
Lesson 7- Stewarding Friendships
Ephesians 4:25-32
God designed us with a need for friendships. True, godly friendship is founded on a mutual walk with the Lord and can bring us great fulfillment. Stewarding friendship includes both having friends and being a friend. In this lesson, we will learn through Ephesians 4 how to develop and steward friendships for the glory of God.
Lesson 6- Stewarding Trials
2 Corinthians 12:1-10
We don’t often think of trials as gifts to steward, but rather as circumstances to avoid. Through the testimonies of Paul and Job, we will examine God’s wonderful workings in lives that have purposed to steward trials for God, through His strength.
Lesson 5- Stewarding Thoughts
Philippians 4:4-8
Our thoughts control our perception of not only life, but of who God is in relation to our lives. In this lesson, we will study the necessity, as well as God’s method, for stewarding our thoughts. In our stressed-out society, where our minds are flooded with anxiety and care, God’s Word has the prescription for peace for the Christian. In this lesson we are continuing our study of stewarding our thoughts, using the directives from Philippians 4.
Lesson 4- Stewarding Energy
Matthew 11:28-30
God equips us with everything we need to do His will. It is when we try to do His work (or our own) without seeking His priorities and utilizing His gift of rest that we begin to operate on overload. This lesson will examine God’s way of redistributing these weights and relieving tension.
